Which Deye inverter matches your property?

The first decision is your electrical supply, not whether 10 kW or 12 kW sounds better. Evolve Energy Hub sells the Deye 10 kW single-phase hybrid, 10 kW three-phase hybrid and 12 kW three-phase hybrid. The 12 kW option in our range is three phase only.

Ask your electrician to confirm the property’s supply and proposed connection. A single-phase inverter on a three-phase property is not the same design as a three-phase inverter: phase loading, backup circuits and network requirements still need assessment. Do not infer the correct connection from the model’s power rating alone.

10 kW single phase versus 10 kW three phase

Our single-phase model is SUN-10K-SG02LP1-AU-AM3. The three-phase 10 kW model is SUN-10K-SG04LP3-AU. They belong to different Deye product families, so do not assume their PV inputs, battery-current limits or backup specifications are identical.

A three-phase inverter’s total rating does not mean the whole output can be used on any one phase. Your installer must check per-phase limits, allowable imbalance and the intended loads against the exact datasheet. This is especially important for large single-phase appliances on a three-phase property.

When should you consider the 12 kW three-phase model?

The SUN-12K-SG04LP3-AU offers a higher nominal output class than the 10 kW three-phase option. Consider it when the load and system design can use that capacity—not simply because more kW is available.

  • Check running and starting loads on each phase.
  • Confirm the solar array design against the exact inverter’s input limits.
  • Check whether the proposed battery can deliver the required power.
  • Confirm current model approvals and network connection requirements.
  • Compare backup requirements separately from normal grid-connected operation.

An inverter rating is not a guaranteed grid-export allowance. Network limits and site conditions may constrain the design.

What to send for a model recommendation

Include your supply phase, existing solar details, intended battery, major loads, backup priorities and delivery postcode. Daniel can discuss hardware selection; your qualified installer must confirm the final electrical design.

Next, check Deye and Pytes battery compatibility and Deye battery backup requirements, or view the inverter listings.

Model-specific references

Confirm the datasheet revision and full model suffix for the equipment being quoted. This is a supplier comparison, not a wiring guide or independent performance test.

Discuss your hardware requirements

Send the model, application and delivery postcode. Daniel can help with product selection and a supply quote. Installation is separate and must be arranged with an appropriately qualified contractor.
